to streamline payments for
real estate operators across Europe.

February, 2026 – Powerhouse, the AI-native PMS and operating system for real estate portfolios, has partnered with bank payment company GoCardless to launch an integrated payment solution for student housing, co-living, and senior living operators across Europe.

The integration incorporates GoCardless’ API-first Direct Debit functionality to collect recurring payments, as well as Instant Bank Pay -- its open banking-powered solution for one-off payments -- and Success+, a tool that uses machine learning to optimise the recovery of failed payments.

The partnership will enable operators to automate their full payment cycle - from rent collection to reconciliation - helping to improve cash flow, reduce service costs, and offer residents an easier, modern way to pay. The solution is already rolling out with operators including Eckelmans (BE) and will soon be implemented in portfolios across the UK, France and rest of Europe.

This means that residents can now book and pay for their room in one flow, with mandates set up upfront and payments automatically reconciled. This significantly reduces manual administration for operators and lowers payment failure rates from 7.9% to 2.7%, based on results seen across similar portfolios.
